The Operator Network
Kurent designs the fix. Operators build it.
A referral standard for implementation partners across Visibility, Margin, and Independence.
Kurent diagnoses structural dependency in founder-led businesses and designs the Blueprint to fix it. Kurent doesn’t build. The Operator Network is a small group of implementation partners who execute against a specific structural brief — not a lead, not a cold intro.
The three pillars
Visibility Operators
Build the intelligence layer — dashboards, KPI architecture, financial reporting, cash flow visibility. Fractional CFOs, finance operators, data specialists working with small business.
Margin Operators
Find and seal profit leaks at the pricing and delivery level. Pricing architects, operations consultants, service delivery designers.
Independence Operators
Build the systems that remove the founder from the critical path. Process documentation, SOPs, delegation architecture, org design.
How a referral works
This is a brief, not a lead. The scoping conversation is already done before the first call.
The relationship runs both ways. If you’re working with a founder and the same pattern shows up outside the pillar you were brought in for, the diagnostic is the right next step before scope expands — not a competing engagement. Send them to the OMS diagnostic.
Who we’re looking for
Kurent is building the first cohort of Operators across all three pillars. Partners are chosen through a direct conversation, not an application form — the goal is alignment on how referrals work and confidence that a client’s outcome is protected end to end.
What’s true about this today
How operators are selected↓
Through a direct conversation, not an application. That means reviewing a few examples of pillar-specific delivery work and confirming alignment on how a structural brief gets used. A formal certification process is the right tool once the cohort is large enough that conversation stops being the more reliable filter.
Training or certification↓
Not required today. Alignment happens through direct conversation while the network is small.
Quality monitoring↓
Kurent maintains the relationship with the founder after the referral — that ongoing conversation is the mechanism today, not a survey or a scorecard. It becomes a designed feedback loop, not a manual one, as referral volume grows.
If an operator’s read differs from the brief↓
Kurent owns the sequencing logic — what gets fixed first. The operator owns implementation precision — how it gets built. If field data contradicts the brief, the operator doesn’t unilaterally change scope, and doesn’t send the founder back through a new diagnostic. They request a short Brief Calibration call and bring what they found. One of two things happens: the field data reveals a real gap and the brief gets amended, or the original sequence gets confirmed and the operator proceeds as designed. Either way, the founder gets one diagnostic authority, not two competing opinions mid-engagement.
How outcomes feed back into the system↓
Informally today, through that same ongoing relationship — including what surfaces in a Brief Calibration call. Founders on a retainer already get monthly OMS recalibration to track state progression. As the network matures, what operators find in the field routes into that same scoring loop rather than living separately.
